1980s Tessellated Stone Side Table

Gorgeous Postmodern 1980s design, freeform tessellated stone coffee table with textured stone base and precariously balanced travertine sphere. The quarter circle-shaped beveled glass top makes this versatile piece the perfect shape for any space. The glass piece is easily removable. Mactan stone is a kind of white coral quarried in the Philippines. The massive, smooth, tessellated stone orbs that sit atop the coral feature exotically marbled earth tone veins. DIMENSIONS: Base 16 inches tall 23 x 32 inches Glass Dimensions: 0.25 inches wide 50 x 38 inches Although this piece looks heavy and monumental, the Mactan stone material is relatively lightweight and easy to move. Very good vintage condition. There are a few Imperfections that overall blend with the texture of the natural stone. Please make sure to look at the pictures before purchase.
